On the morning of March 20, the opening ceremony of the Yonyou Overseas Talent Development Program was solemnly held at the Lecture Hall, Collaborative Innovation Center for Financial Data Science, Jiaoqiao Campus. The Program is co-organized by the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) and Yonyou Middle East Network Technology Co., Ltd. 
As the university’s first industry-education program dedicated to overseas employment, and its first customized initiative featuring mixed classes for Chinese and international students and integrated undergraduate-postgraduate training, the launch marks a pivotal milestone in advancing the Belt and Road Initiative, deepening industry-education integration and innovating international interdisciplinary talent training. The ceremony was attended by senior leaders of the university and partner enterprises, department heads, school administrators, faculty, and all 31 Chinese and international trainees from 11 Belt and Road countries. Wan Yina, Dean of the SFL, presided over the ceremony. 
In his address, Vice President Que Shandong extended congratulations and gratitude to Yonyou and its partners. He said digital globalization has pushed Chinese enterprises to go global with brands and standards, and it is a key mission for universities to nurture talents with proficient language skills, solid expertise and global vision. Rooted in the university motto “Sincerity, Wisdom, Integrity, Perseverance”, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) has pursued development through digitalization, green development and internationalization. The Program creates a new model that connects classroom teaching closely with overseas practice. He urged trainees to uphold sincerity, pursue wisdom, maintain integrity and demonstrate perseverance, so as to become outstanding professionals on the global stage. 
Guan Xuehui, General Manager of Yonyou Middle East, introduced Yonyou’s Globalization 2.0 Strategy and opportunities in the Middle East and Africa. He said the Program is established to tackle the talent shortage facing global enterprises. Through the innovative model “earn credits by learning, upgrade capabilities by practice”, the Program will cultivate practical talents for Yonyou’s overseas ecosystem. Yonyou will provide premium overseas employment channels to help students transition smoothly from campus to global careers. 
As a representative of Yonyou’s ecological partners, Huang Yuanyuan delivered a speech to congratulate the launch of the Program. She noted that digital and intelligent transformation of Chinese enterprises going global has become an irresistible trend, and the founding of the Program precisely addresses the demand for overseas talents, representing a major innovation in industry-education collaborative talent cultivation. As a gold partner of Yonyou covering Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, KaiDian will fully support the Program and offer qualified trainees targeted overseas jobs, training, internship and promotion opportunities. 
The ceremony reached a climax with the flag-presenting ceremony. Vice President Que Shandong presented the Program flag to a student representative, symbolizing the official launch of the Program’s journey to cultivate global talents. 
Subsequently, Hu Yue, a 2025 postgraduate student majoring in Japanese Translation, and Ismail Bashar, a 2024 international postgraduate student majoring in International Business, delivered speeches as representatives of Chinese and international trainees respectively. They expressed gratitude to the university and the enterprise for building this valuable platform, and pledged on behalf of all trainees to cherish the opportunity, study diligently and practice earnestly, striving to grow into overseas talents with both professional competence and international vision. Tao Ping, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages, introduced in detail the innovative cultivation model, curriculum system and advanced planning of the Program on behalf of the program team. 
It is reported that the trainees of the current Program have been selected through strict written examinations and interviews, bringing together 31 outstanding Chinese and international students from various majors. As an important practice in implementing the strategic transformation of Foreign Languages +, the SFL will continue to deepen industry-education collaboration and whole-process joint cultivation, deliver high-quality interdisciplinary overseas talents for the global development of Chinese enterprises, and build the Program into a replicable and promotable model for industry-education integrated talent cultivation.
