4th Young Entrepreneurs Global Expansion Training Program (Nanchang) Opens at JUFE

On the morning of November 4th, the fourth session of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Global Expansion Program (Nanchang Station) was held at JUFE. The event was hosted by the China International Youth Exchange Center, undertaken by the School of Foreign Studies, and co-organized by Jiangxi Yinghao Furui Education Group.

The four-day training program features a dual-city model linking Nanchang and Beijing. It combines themed lectures, roundtable discussions, case studies and field trips to systematically develop participants’ global vision and practical skills for international business.

ice President, Shandong Que, attended the opening ceremony along with Pengda Xin, director of the Exchange and Cooperation Department and Training Department of China International Youth Exchange Center, and Meiyu Qi, deputy director of Jiangxi International Communication Center. Representatives from the Overseas Education College and School of Foreign Studies, as well as Genzhu Xu, chairman of Jiangxi Yinghao Furui Education Group, also participated. Yina Wan, dean of the School of Foreign Studies, presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Que extended a warm welcome to the participants. He noted that the university is fully advancing the new journey of the “Third Entrepreneurship,” seizing opportunities brought by “the Three Transformation Opportunities” (digitalization, greening, and internationalization), and continuously promoting the Three Major Transformation Initiatives (to build a high-level research university, a top-tier digital finance and economics university, and a benchmark university serving Jiangxi). Guided by this strategy, the university has deepened cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road,” thus significantly raising the level of internationalized education. He emphasized that the program is not only an important initiative of the school to serve national strategies and support enterprises in going global but also a concrete action to practice high-standard opening-up and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. He encouraged participants to engage in learning with an open mind, broaden their international horizons, and deepen practical cooperation.

Pengda Xin briefed participants on the center’s work in international exchanges for young entrepreneurs. He noted that in recent years, the center has built stronger institutional platforms, launched the “International Young Entrepreneurs Association Alliance”, and created practical projects such as the “Young Entrepreneurs International Cooperation Conference”, “China-ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Trade Fair”, and “Lancang-Mekong Young Entrepreneurs Exchange Camp”. These initiatives provide stable channels for global young entrepreneurs to interact and achieve mutual benefits.

Gong Chao, General Manager of Yimadangxian (Jiangxi) Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of young entrepreneurs. She expressed heartfelt thanks to Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics for creating this global exchange platform. Drawing from her company’s experience supporting business internationalization, she shared insights and expectations on service industry globalization.

In a themed lecture, Professor Xianming Huang discussed “New Opportunities for Jiangxi Companies Going Global.” He outlined ten major shifts facing Chinese enterprises in 2024 and four competitive trends for 2025. His recommendations  tailored to Jiangxi’s industrial characteristics and development stage  sparked deep reflection on global strategy and resonated strongly with trainees.

Participants from 18 countries under the Ministry of Commerce’s foreign aid program and 72 Jiangxi entrepreneurs held roundtable talks on Chinese companies’ global trade opportunities, establishing a platform for precise demand-resource matching.

Foreign participants outlined their nations’ competitive industries and investment needs. Representatives from Sierra Leone and Ethiopia highlighted cooperation potential in mining, agricultural processing and smart logistics. The Iraqi delegate noted a booming e-commerce market with major logistics gaps. Nigeria and Botswana stressed urgent needs for resource development and industrial chain upgrading.

Chinese entrepreneurs responded actively, discussing agricultural technology, equipment exports and cross-border logistics. Several companies reached preliminary cooperation deals on-site.

The program concluded in a solemn yet warm atmosphere. It marks a key initiative by the School of Foreign Studies to support the university’s internationalization drive and promote “Language+” cross-disciplinary development.

By linking Belt and Road trainees with local entrepreneurs, the platform deepened industry-academia-research collaboration and cross-cultural exchange.Entrepreneurs praised its theoretical depth and practical value, noting it provided targeted cooperation channels for companies going global while demonstrating the school’s commitment to serving national strategies and supporting local development.
