Party Secretary Juebin Lu  chaired the event.

Dean Wan Yina opened the forum by presenting flowers to Que on behalf of all teachers and students.

On behalf of the University Party Committee and Administration, Vice-president Que then sent festive greetings to every teacher, praising their silent devotion and calling on them to: 1) stay true to the mission of fostering talent for the nation; 2) set a moral example; 3) keep learning and innovate in “foreign-language-plus” programs; 4) care for students with love. He also urged the new leadership team to unite the staff and train globally-competent graduates with solid language skills and deep humanistic qualities.

Yina Wan, dean of the school, thanked university leaders for their long-time support and said the college would put the spirit of the speech into action. She noted that both veteran teachers and young staff show “education is a cause of dedication.” Under the university’s leadership, the school will unite, bring in AI and cross-subject courses, and train more graduates with solid linguistic foundation, deep cultural awareness and a global outlook.

Lu thanked the staff for their hard work and stressed that teachers are the cornerstone of the college’s development.

Huang Yanhong, one of the university’s “Top Ten Teachers,” spoke on behalf of the faculty, pledging to be a “four-have” good teacher with ideals, ethics, solid knowledge and a loving heart.

Xinling Dai , a sophomore from Business English 241, expressed students’ heartfelt gratitude and promised to study hard and repay teachers’ care.

Alumni from around the world sent short video clips, recalling happy campus memories and thanking their teachers.

Certificates and bouquets were presented to long-service teachers, retiring staff, backbone teachers and outstanding scholars, followed by group photos.

In the exchange session, teacher representatives shared their experiences and insights on the road of teaching and educating people and scientific research.

After the forum, all of the participants posed for a group photo to capture the moment.

The event ended in a warm, moving atmosphere and greatly boosted teachers’ sense of honor and responsibility, strengthening their confidence in pushing forward the college’s “foreign-language-plus” talent strategy.
