Anti-Drug Campaign Sweeps Campus

In an effort to deepen nationwide anti-drug education and enhance the drug identification and prevention capabilities of the youth, a themed publicity campaign titled Delivering the First Anti-Drug Lesson, Empowering a Drug-Free Youth was successfully held on February 26 at the Yinglu Y119 Auditorium. The event was jointly organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Prison Safety and Service Support Center, School of Foreign Studies, School of Law, School of Social and Humanities, and School of Physical Education. It attracted a large number of students through a multi-faceted approach to anti-drug publicity.

At the launch ceremony, the Provincial Prison Safety and Service Support Center distributed professional publicity kits containing anti-drug brochures and legal education materials to all participants. A collective commitment session was also set up, where attendees signed a drug-free banner to reinforce students' sense of primary responsibility through ritualistic education.

The publicity campaign consisted of six core modules. The first segment featured a speech by Officer Liu, a provincial prison anti-drug expert, titled “Youth Without Drugs, Shining Towards the Future.” He covered the types of drugs, their dangers, and preventive measures, systematically analyzing the disguise forms, addiction mechanisms, and social hazards of new types of drugs. This was followed by a performance of a life-valuing theme song by anti-drug volunteer Zhou, conveying the value of life through art. During the collective commitment session, Community Police Officer Zhang led all teachers and students in a solemn anti-drug oath. In the physical recognition segment, models of traditional drugs, synthetic drugs, and third-generation new psychoactive substances were displayed, with professional explanations to expose the disguises of drugs. An anti-drug knowledge quiz was also held, where students actively answered questions using the knowledge they had learned during the event, effectively testing the learning outcomes. The event concluded with a group photo.

Through knowledge dissemination to solidify the foundation of anti-drug efforts, artistic performances to strengthen emotional identification, physical observation to enhance identification skills, and interactive quizzes to consolidate learning outcomes, a complete anti-drug cognition loop was formed. This event not only strengthened students’ anti-drug awareness but also cultivated their sense of social responsibility and mission, guiding them to establish correct values. It is believed that in the future, students will be better able to protect themselves and contribute to building a drug-free society.
