SFL Students Visit Budweiser Brewery to Investigate the Digitalization Development
To gain an in-depth understanding of the achievements and challenges of digital transformation in enterprises during the Chinese modernization, the CSTH (Culture, Sci-Tech, and Hygienic health) team of SFL , led by Youth League Secretary Yi Zheng and counselor Sun Wenna, paid a visit to Budweiser Sedrin Brewery Co., Ltd. on the morning of July 9, 2024. They were invited to visit the China Beer Museum and held discussions with Wang Liang, a Budweiser corporate liaison and alumnus of JUFE.
First, the team followed the guide's introductions and formally embarked on a brewing journey featuring the combination of traditional brewing techniques and modern digital management. During the visit, the guide introduced a wealth of knowledge about beer and brewing, the history of the brewery development, and new modernized types of beer. She also led the team in engaging activities and allowed them to observe the brewing process under modern machinery.
Through advanced machinery and nearly automatic production lines, the team gained a profound understanding of the modern beer production process and recognized the advantages and importance of digital and information transformation in enterprises. Finally, the team held a interview with Mr. Wang Liang, delving into the challenges of digital transformation in enterprises. Through the talk, the team learned about the difficulties faced during digital transformation and the corresponding strategies.
During this enterprise research activity, the team witnessed the factory's manufacturing processes and got close to the production line. They recognized the advantages and challenges of modern manufacturing enterprises in terms of digitalization and informatization. The team members expressed their commitment to further studies in the future, and apply the social practice and learning to real life in the hope of making contribution to China's modernization.
