On November 20, under the guidance of Lu Shuming and Xiao Lin from the Department of Business English, the team called “Moye” which was composed of Ouyang Liu, Guan Xi, Rao Jiaxiang, Chen Xianying and Wu Xiuwen, won the second prize in the National Business English Practical Skills Competition (the first place in the provincial competition), also the best prize since the participation of our school’s businessEnglishmajors.

　　The competition is divided into two stages: provincial competition and national competition, including online business English professional knowledge test and English speaking test. The “Moye” team competed with teams from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Sichuan International Studies University, Dalian International Studies University and other universities. In the final competition, the team’s fluent English statements, exquisite PPT presentation, professional analysis, wise answers and excellent teamwork, won enthusiastic applause from the online audience and the unanimous praise of the judges and experts. Finally, they won the national second prize with excellentresults.

　　Sponsored by the National College Student “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Alliance” and the Yixue Education Group, the National Business English Practice Skills Competition was hosted by Heilongjiang University this year. During the preparation of the competition, the tutors and the participating students repeatedly polished and modified their works. The students carried forward the fighting spirit, overcame many difficulties, united and cooperated, and finally achieved good results, which shows the solid professional quality and good spirit ofourstudents.
